CASEY J. WOLNOWSKI

casey@cjwfirm.com

The Law Office of Casey J. Wolnowski is dedicated to representing clients whose civil rights have been violated, as well as helping those recover the earned wages to which they are entitled. The law protects many forms of discrimination in the workplace, including discrimination based on: race, gender, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, pregnancy, and religion. There are protections in place under federal, state, and local law.

Casey began his legal career working at the United Nations focusing on international human rights (and namely, international rights of children). He thereafter served as senior principal law clerk for an appeals judge in Brooklyn for over four years, and worked for a federal judge in a New York federal district court in 2013. Before starting his own practice, Casey worked at a mid-sized employment law firm in New York City.

Casey possesses valuable insight into multiple areas of the legal system which enables him to resolve matters in ways that are effective and efficient. He has worked for both state and federal judges and understands how judges review proof and evaluate legal disputes. Casey knows that no two cases are identical and where one client may be best served by early settlement, another may be best served by taking the case all the way to trial.

Casey is a graduate of St. Thomas University School of Law (Miami, FL - 2008), and The College of Wooster (Wooster, OH - 2004). He is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (as well as its New York chapter) and the New York City Bar Association's LGBTQ Committee.
